The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Harvard School of Dental Medicine is an American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program recognized provider.

Credit Designation Statement
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The Harvard School of Dental Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.25 CE credits toward the ADA CERP. Each healthcare professional should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity. At the conclusion of the meeting, please fill out and hand in the program evaluation in order to receive credit. A statement of credit willl be sent to you within 30 days of the meeting.

Intended Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, dentists and all other clinicians involved in the care of patients with cancer.

Goal
To provide clinicians with the latest information on oral mucositits, including underlying pathophysiology, practical strategies for its prevention and management, and ongoing studies aimed at improving therapy.
