On September 4th, 2004, Advanced Studies in Medicine held a CME symposium on the occasion of the 40th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Munich, Germany. The symposium, held at the International Congress Center Munich (ICM), was entitled "Diabetic Microvascular Complications: New Concepts of Pathogenesis and New Strategies for Clinical Practice."
